Serve St. Louis

We believe in uniting people and Churches in service for His glory.

There is great need in our city and the Church is uniquely positioned and called to lead the charge in meeting those needs. We’ve been asking God to clearly lead so that our efforts will be impactful and fueled by the Holy Spirit.

As a para church ministry, we see our role (at JOY FM) as uniting people and churches to serve and address some of the larger scale needs that could be overwhelming to any one church or ministry. We are burdened by the obvious distress in our city:

  • Homicide rate at a 20-year high
  • Opioid and Heroin addiction on the rise
  • Open- Air drug markets where drugs and prostitution are common 24/7 in neighborhoods
  • Ongoing racial tension

We recently met with Better Family Life and some inner-city pastors who stated, “We need the church to help heal our city.” The invitation has been given and we would like to encourage you to join this unique “Serve St. Louis” movement.

If you’re a pastor, you’re invited to join the conversation. If you’re not, will you make sure that your pastor is aware of this city changing movement? It’s called Common Crisis, Common Ground and there’s a monthly meeting, just for St. Louis area pastors.

The next meeting is 6pm on Thursday night, March 1st at Better Family Life located at 5415 Page Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63112.

Mark your calendars for upcoming Meetings:

  • March 1st
  • April 5th
  • May 3rd
  • June 7th

Please RSVP to Better Family Life at (314) 381-8200.

These efforts will unite city/county churches and social service agencies… Your church will not be walking/serving alone in these projects. We believe that opportunities like these are consistent with the Serve St. Louis mission and will allow us to make an even greater impact on our city for Christ.
